Sarah Parsons has been painting since she was old enough to hold a paintbrush. She finds inspiration surrounding herself with musicians, artists, and fellow dreamers. Nature continues to be a force in her work as well; she spent many childhood summers on the beaches of Cape Cod and grew up surrounded by the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
Nature’s influence on her is reflected in her dream-like abstract landscapes created with her tools of choice, a palette knife and dry brush. Besides working as an artist, she is the creative arts pastor at her local church; she meets with, encourages, and challenges creatives to pursue their dreams. She currently lives and paints in Franklin, Tennessee.
Fun fact: she majored in pre-law before changing her major to fine art.
