Chase, Rod
Artist Rod Chase is known to his collectors for producing photorealistic paintings of famous landmarks, both in America and abroad. He takes countless photographs of each of his subjects and combines them with historical photos in order to produce a timeless quality in each of his highly realistic paintings. “As a hyperrealist painter, it is very important that each building, and the surrounding landscape, is painted with complete accuracy, right down to the smallest detail,” the artist explains.
Chase works with acrylics on canvas, spending hundreds of hours on each painting as he strives to present a fresh and unique view to familiar subjects.
