Mila Apperlo is an abstract painter inspired by textures, colors and sounds of the natural world. With a subtle and conceptual approach, Mila creates a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way. Her work doesn’t reference recognizable form. The results are deconstructed to the extent that meaning is shifted and possible interpretation becomes multifaceted.

By applying abstraction, Mila creates intense personal moments masterfully created by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer round and round in circles.

Mila’s paintings have been exhibited and awarded both nationally and internationally. Currently she lives and works in Bonita Springs, Florida.
